HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A developing tropical storm has gained strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 250 miles southeast of Mexico's southern/western Mexico. Meteorologists are expecting that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is moving northwestward at around 15 mph.
